November 12, 2022, 1-3pm at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop: Join author and former Executive Director of CHAW, Jill Strachan, for a special conversation and signing event to celebrate her recently published memoir, "Waterfalls, The Moon and Sensible Shoes-One Lesbian Life." Jill will share the stories behind the stories and reflections on how her journeys influenced her long tenure at CHAW--as well as how the work of creativity and the arts inspired her outside the walls of CHAW. Suggested donation amount is $25, with all proceeds going toward CHAW's end of year campaign to support access to the arts for under-resourced students. Jill will be signing books after the event--a wonderful holiday gift idea!--and 50% of the book sales will also be donated to CHAW. For more information about CHAW's programs, visit chaw.org.
